This was a visit to San Diego for a one night stay for a concert in May.  I love San Diego and visit fairly regularly, but this was my first stay at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.  I’d always been especially curious about the property, as I’ve been going to Comic Con in San Diego for about 27 years, and this is the closest property to the convention center apart from the adjacent Marriott Marquis (which I’ve stayed at many times).  All in all, I was really impressed with the Bayfront, and hope to stay again soon.

There is a manned station at the start of the parking garage, which is also used for the nearby Petco Park, but if you let them know that you are a guest, they will let you know at which floor level to park.

Check-in was well staffed and organized.

The property itself is very nice, clean, and contemporary, in the public areas as well as the rooms.

The room was pretty nicely sized and very comfortable, clean, and felt new and updated.  What you might expect from a 4 or 5-star property was present.

The views were excellent.

There was no room service late at night, but the front desk provided menus to local third-party establishments that deliver to the property, but they do not have permission to use the elevators, so you must meet them in the lobby.

I was only there one night, so did not have an opportunity to explore some of the amenities of the property.

I would definitely recommend it and hope to have a longer stay again soon.

Below are some photos taken during my stay:
